The REALIGN™ Framework

A METHODOLOGY FOR WORKING WITH THE WHOLE Human SYSTEM — NOT JUST A PIECE OF IT.

In late 2021, my life collapsed. I was fired from a high-level executive role, survived multiple sexual assaults, sued for $25 million dollars and forced to confront a nearly two decade long, destructive addiction to cocaine.

That year wasn’t a metaphor.  It was a full-body, biochemical, and spiritual breakdown.

But what came next wasn’t rehab. It wasn't a diagnosis. It wasn't a spiritual bypass. It was a slow, brutal, grace-soaked rebuild—  layer by layer, breath by breath. In hindsight, I can see the path I walked. That path became the REALIGN™ Framework.

“I didn’t sit down to create a Framework. I survived something that required one.”

Why this method

Every discipline believes it is addressing root cause.

The gastroenterologist points to the gut. The therapist points to the trauma. The psychiatrist points to the chemistry. Each one is right about their piece — and incomplete about the whole.

REALIGN™ works from a different premise. That the gut, the nervous system, the emotional body, and the energetic field are not separate problems. They are expressions of the same disruption moving through one whole system. And that system is fundamentally conscious.

Epigenetics has established that stress, trauma, and environment shape gene expression — and that these patterns can pass between generations. What indigenous and eastern traditions have called ancestral burden, biology is beginning to take seriously.

This is the premise. Following the patterns back to where they actually started, not just symptoms to diagnose.

The 7 Pillars of REALIGN™

REALIGN™ isn't a linear program. It's a living methodology.

Each pillar addresses a distinct layer of the human system — biological, emotional, energetic, and spiritual. In practice they don't move in a straight line. They inform each other, overlap, and shift depending on what your system needs most at any given time.

This is the framework I use with every client. It's also the methodology I'm building to train other practitioners — because this way of working needs more people who can hold the whole picture.

  • Identify the origins of imbalance.

Most people arrive with a symptom. Anxiety that won't quiet. Depression that medication hasn't touched. Gut issues their doctor can't explain. Hormonal chaos that feels bigger than hormones. We start there — with what brought you in — and we start pulling the thread.

Root cause work looks at everything. Inflammatory markers and lab work — because the research on neuroinflammation and mood disorders is telling us things the standard psychiatric model hasn't caught up to yet. Gut function, because the gut-brain axis is real and your microbiome is producing the majority of your serotonin. Trauma history, because unprocessed experience lives in the nervous system and the body long after the mind has moved on. Belief systems and identity structures, because the brain constructs reality from prior experience — and until that changes, the pattern doesn't. Ancestral and epigenetic burden, because some of what you're carrying didn't start with you.

The goal isn't a new label. It's the starting point for everything that follows.

→ Focus: What's out of alignment — and where did it actually start?

  • The body is not just biological. It’s energetic.

Science is beginning to catch up to what ancient traditions have known for thousands of years — that the body operates as a living energy system, responsive to thought, emotion, environment, and consciousness itself. You don't need to understand the physics to feel it. You already do.

Every major healing tradition has its own map of this system. Traditional Chinese Medicine works with meridians and acupuncture points. Ayurveda maps the doshas and marma points. Yogic tradition works with the chakra system. Craniosacral therapy tracks the body's subtle rhythms. Each one is a different language for the same underlying intelligence.

In this work we map that system through chakra theory, Ayurvedic doshic analysis, and somatic cues — looking at where life force is blocked, depleted, or overexpressed. Where energy is leaking. Where it's compensating. Where it's been shut down so long it's forgotten how to flow.

This gives form and language to what you've been sensing but couldn't name — and bridges the gap between what's happening in the body and what's happening beneath it.

→ Focus: Where is your energy leaking, stuck, or compensating?

  • Bring the unconscious into conscious awareness.

Beneath every symptom is a story. Trauma loops, identity structures, belief systems formed to survive that are now keeping you stuck. Awareness is what makes them visible — and visible is the only place they can change.

The thinking mind has limits. Some of what's running you lives below the level of conscious thought — in the body, in the nervous system, in the parts of yourself that formed before you had language for any of it. Accessing that material requires going beneath the surface.

People do this in different ways. Meditation, mantra, breathwork, and mindfulness create the conditions for unconscious material to surface gradually. Plant medicine and psychedelic experiences can accelerate that process dramatically — and require skilled integration to be truly useful. The Lucia Light creates a non-ordinary state of consciousness through pulsed light — a sober, technology-assisted experience that entrains the brain into deep meditative states where insight, memory, and unconscious material can emerge organically.

In this work we use whatever creates the right conditions for your system. The goal is always the same — to bring what's running you into conscious awareness so you can finally respond to it rather than be driven by it.

Awareness isn't always comfortable. But it's always the turning point.

→ Focus: Self-talk, inherited patterns, identity scripts, emotional blind spots.

  • Remove what fragments the system.

Most people think lifestyle means diet. It's much bigger than that.

Everything you consume — food, substances, relationships, environments, digital inputs, the news, the conversations you keep having, the coping mechanisms that got you through but are now keeping you stuck — all of it either supports your system or fragments it. Most of it has never been looked at honestly.

This pillar is about clearing the field. Not through restriction or punishment — but through honest inventory. What is actually nourishing you? What is quietly perpetuating the dysregulation? What have you normalized that your nervous system has never actually adapted to?

Ayurveda has been asking these questions for thousands of years — looking at how food, seasonal rhythms, daily routine, and environment either build vitality or deplete it. Modern functional medicine is asking the same questions through the lens of inflammation, gut health, and hormonal balance. The answers overlap more than either tradition admits.

You can't build new patterns on top of a cluttered foundation. This is the clearing.

→ Focus: Inflammatory inputs — dietary, digital, relational, energetic.

  • Build what actually sustains you — and leave room to play.

Once the field is cleared, we begin layering in what nourishes and stabilizes. This is where the work gets personal — and where something unexpected often happens. In the right environment, with the right support, people tend to intuitively reach for exactly what they need. A practice. A tool. A modality they've never tried but feel drawn to.

We honor that. Because healing has an intelligence of its own — and when the noise settles, the deeper self tends to know what it needs next.

Most clinical models never make room for this. They prescribe. They protocol. They give you a plan and expect you to follow it. This work does something different. It creates the conditions for exploration — and trusts that in that space, something genuine will emerge.

That might look like breathwork or ritual. Ayurvedic protocols built around your constitution. Frequency-based tools like the Lucia Light or AmpCoil. Somatic movement. Creative expression. Journaling. Time in nature. Tea. Something you haven't tried yet but feel pulled toward.

Play is part of this. Joy is part of this. The nervous system doesn't only heal through effort — it heals through ease, through pleasure, through the rediscovery of what it feels like to be in a body that isn't bracing for impact.

Your toolkit is yours. Built for your constitution, your capacity, and your current terrain. Not a one-size-fits-all model. A living, evolving set of practices that grows with you.

→ Focus: Breath, ritual, food, light, rhythm, regulation — and joy.

  • This is where transformation sticks.

Peak experiences open doors. Altered states create openings. Insights arrive. Something shifts. And then Monday morning happens — and without a grounded, embodied daily practice, most of it evaporates.

Grounding is the unglamorous work that makes everything else last. It lives in the fundamentals — sleep, digestion, breath, movement, stillness, boundaries, rhythm. The daily practices that aren't extraordinary but are everything. The morning routine that signals safety to a nervous system that has spent years in survival mode. The meal that nourishes rather than inflames. The boundary that protects your energy field before it gets depleted.

Ayurveda calls this dinacharya — the daily rhythm that brings the body back into alignment with its own nature and the rhythms of the natural world. It's not complicated. But it requires consistency. And consistency is where most healing falls apart.

This pillar builds the container that holds everything else. Transformation that doesn't land in the body doesn't last. Grounding is how it lands.

→ Focus: Sensory literacy, routine, nervous system tone, rooted presence.

  • Reinforce the change with consistency.

This is where the work becomes permanent.

Everything that came before this pillar was preparation — clearing, mapping, building awareness, detoxing the inputs, filling the toolkit, grounding the body. New Patterning is where all of it gets wired in. Where the insight becomes identity. Where the practice becomes automatic. Where the person you've been doing the work to become starts to feel like just — you.

Neuroscience calls this neuroplasticity. The brain's capacity to lay new tracks through repetition, rhythm, and new experience. What fires together wires together. Which means every conscious choice, every repeated practice, every moment of choosing the new response over the old one is literally reshaping the architecture of how you think, feel, and respond.

This isn't about willpower. Willpower runs out. This is about redesigning the conditions — the environment, the rhythms, the relationships, the inputs — so that the new pattern becomes the path of least resistance.

It takes time. It's not linear. There will be days where the old pattern wins. That's not failure — that's the process. What matters is the direction of travel and the consistency of return.

The work doesn't end here. But this is where it becomes yours to keep.

→ Focus: Daily choices, new habits, anchored nervous system regulation.

REALIGN™ is for people who are ready to stop managing their symptoms — and start understanding their whole system.
